If you want candles and ambiance, go somewhere else. If you want great home cooked food and plenty of it this is the place for you. It is a hole in the wall cafe but the food was good, cheap, and the staff very friendly.

We found this place during our road trip after our stop at Clinton, OK proofed to be uneventful (Clinton is a deserted town). This place is part of the Econolodge hotel and first impression was unfavorable. However, we gave it a chance based on the reviews. The breakfast was good and biscuits were fresh. Ham in the omelette was real ham and the service was friendly and accommodating. The orange juice was not good (most likely fountain drink). The place was a bit run down and if you are looking for atmosphere this is not your place. It has the feel of a dive breakfast trucker place. Overall, better than expected.

Pulled over here to escape a storm. Pretty usual trucker/road food. However their biscuits and gravy are top notch. Fresh baked biscuits with a bacon based white gravy. Topped with crumbled sausage. Good on a rainy cold night, but not so good for the waistline. Friendly fast service too!

,Quite an interesting find. Lots of food. We stopped for breakfast and the biscuits and gravy were one of the best. Nice, large biscuits! The polish sausage seemed a bit undercooked but were edible and there was a lot of it. The bonus was finding any place that serves homemade cobbler. I never pass up an opportunity and had dessert with my breakfast.

Out in the area for work staying at Motel 6. This place is right next door & has really good home cookin/truck stop style food, some of the best food in the area & very reasonably priced, & fast service. Awesome huge fresh breakfasts! Savory Beef Stew with fresh cornbread is excellent & you get a 2nd bowl if you want, can even take it to go.....makes 2 dinners for $4.99. Breakfasts are big & fresh & served all day. Patty melt was excellent as well, & they will cook your beef as rare as you want! Chicken fried steak was really big & comes with a lot of other food, could have been a little more tender but still good.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast with my dad. It really does have a homey feel to it.

Exactly what you would expect in an Elk City, Oklahoma local eatery. A lot of lonely truckers and fried foods. The chicken tenders were standard, the salad bar was lacking, the baked potatoes were okay. The service was attentive but only two to three people. Nothing notable and nothing discouraging.

weird, not too clean, fantastic home cooking. for the roast beef sandwich, you get a side of choice roast , tender and tasty. take the rest home and eat for a week. beef stew also great. fresh veggies, home cooked dessert. stays open later than other local eateries. they keep the filthy mop bucket propped up against the salad bar in case you spill your salad dressing this place really deserves some sort of Americana award
